Elégance, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017, Moșia Galicea Mare

I really like Cabernet Sauvignon berries, they are small but with a lot of personality. When you try to taste them, you will discover a herbaceous skin, hard to chew, with a sweet taste, balanced by the acidity and flavours. What is really annoying, even if you like the taste, it is the seeds, because there are to many and to large for such a small berry. But this small grape with small berries and tanin seeds can gives us truly amazing wines.

This is definitely the case of this Elégance Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017, made by Moșia Galicea Mare.  

If you taste this wine, you will never forget its flavours. It’s an elegant combination of very nice ripe blackcurrant and blackberries with a smooth touch of cedar wood and tobacco leaves. The tanins are perfectly integrated, a sophisticated  “mélange” of red fruit flavours, tannis and wood notes It’s a pleasant balance in a well structured, full body wine. It will not overwhelm your palate, but it will give you a mouth-wateringly sensation and layers upon layers to discover.
